Why Parenting Green Matters

If you're reading this blog, you most likely have already seen this.  If not, this video is a powerful reminder of how our every day actions have consequences.  As a former teacher of mine used to say, "every time you spend a dollar, you cast a vote."  I know we're all living on a budget and sometimes we simply have to shop with our bank accounts more than our values in mind.  Sometimes Target or Walmart are our only options.  But this video reminds me to limit those times as much as possible and to shop locally and buy organic whenever possible.
