This is a place for people to trade/swap old organic clothes and educational toys. True, shipping things across the country does cost added fuel, but promoting sustainability means wearing out items before they get replaced. If everyone buys size 6 month organic onesies when they could trade them for used ones, for example, that is even more wasteful than getting the gently used ones I might have. So if you have items you're not using anymore, put them up here and work out with others how to trade/swap 'em.

Parenting Green intends the double meaning. Our goal is to promote an ecological focus and a forum for new parents. Because we're pretty green (and green), we figure we can share our adventures and mishaps along the way. This blog is intended for folks who are just as likely to watch Sports Center as they are to listen to NPR; who struggle with the conundrum of cost and convenience vs. ethical responsibility; and who want a community of like-minded parents to share with and learn from.
